Stephanie Wilkerson/Veterinary Assistant, Receptionist- Stephanie has been at My Pet's for over 6 years. She is a well recognized face when our clients walk through the door at My Pet's Animal Hospital. Stephanie came to us from Petland at the Lakeland Mall, where she worked for 3 years, to pursue her interest and education in animal health. Her specialties include phlebotomy and prevention/nutrition client education. She has a natural ability to calm and put animals at ease  both for our doctors and our groomer. Stephanie loves spending time with her family, including her husband and her baby girl. When not working or taking care of her family, she loves to go kayaking, going to the beach and any type of outdoor activities.

Shawna Hanna/Certified Veterinary Technician- Shawna has been with My Pet's for over 5 years. Before joining the My Pet's team she was a full time volunteer at the SPCA in Lakeland. She earned her A.A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology from Ridgewater College in Willmar, Minnesota. Shawna's specialties include diabetic pet education, animal behavior, and assisting in surgeries and dental procedures. While the weather in Florida is much different from her hometown in Marquette, Michigan, her 3 cats Coca, Bunny and Duncan make the transition much easier! While she enjoys her days at My Pet's, she also enjoys spending time with her husband Thomas and her three “furry” children. Shawna loves to cross-stitching, baking, movies, reading and outdoor activities.

Jennifer Fugitt/Director of Human Resources, Website Designer- Jennifer has been with the My Pet's team since 2006.  She came to us from Ohio after attending Shawnee State University.  Growing up on the west coast of Florida, she was anxious to get back to the Florida lifestyle.   Her special interests include laboratory technology, dermatology and making sure that our hospital runs smoothly!  With a background in web-design and marketing, Jennifer has taken My Pet's to new levels with our client-friendly website and various marketing promotions. When she isn't working at the hospital, she loves to spend her weekends at the beach, snorkeling and traveling.  She also has a cocker spaniel named Mickey, and cats named Sammy and Foster.

Michelle Freeman/Veterinary Assistant, Animal Assistant- Michelle has been with My Pet's for over 2 years. She is currently attending PCC majoring in Biological Science. She works hands-on with most of the animals who come to see us at My Pet's and has a natural ability to make them feel at ease. She loves making our boarding guest feel right at home. Michelle has two cats at home-Fatty and Tookie both of which are 3 years old. When she isnt working or attending school, Michelle loves to travel and read science literature. Michelle will be graduating in May of 2009 then she will be attending the University of Florida majoring in BioTechnology.
