Your dog will not become
negative for Heartworm disease for at least 4-5 months. Not all dogs will
become negative; what this means is that while most of the heartworms have
been killed, there are at least 3-4 heartworms left. This is relatively
uncommon and we will decide at this time whether or not to treat with
Immiticide again.
